Scholarships

From its very inception, Ascendance has intentionally set out to make pole and aerial accessible and affordable for those who couldn't otherwise afford this amazing community building activity. Our desire is to help foster growth and empower our community through dance and fitness. Our scholarship program accepts applications quarterly, and recipients are selected by our board of directors.

The Scholarship Program

Awarded quarterly, we select an average of 12 applicants and provide varying degrees of support through 4 award tiers.

Award Tier 1:

Ascendance will subsidize 75% of the recipient’s classes; the recipient will be responsible for the remaining 25%.

Award Tier 2:

Ascendance will subsidize a 20-class package at the current scholarship rate (Ascendance will pay 75% of the package the student is responsible for the remaining 25%).

Award Tier 3:

Ascendance will subsidize a 10-class package at the current scholarship rate (Ascendance will pay 75% of the package the student is responsible for the remaining 25%).

Award Tier 4:

Ascendance will subsidize a series class of the recipient's choice.

Community Classes

In addition to our scholarship program, we are excited to introduce Pay-What-You-Can Community Classes.

Our scholarships are made possible through the support of our class members, generous community donations, and support from these organizations.
