This class is also great for those who wish to increase circulation and mobility to counteract sedentary responsibilities like desk-based work.
We focus on an effective combination of gentle isometric, passive and active stretching techniques coupled with mindfulness exercises to loosen a range of muscles and safely build flexibility for pole and aerial dance.
There are no prerequisites; all are welcome. -
This flex class will leave you sweating! Do you dream of achieving splits, backbends, twisted grip and more? “Being flexible” might sound elusive, but if you stick with this class it won’t be!
This intermediate level class focuses on the engagement and stability required to safely execute moves in more advanced pole and aerial classes.
Each instructor brings unique and varied lesson plans weekly to keep you engaged, challenged, and seeing results. You will leave sweaty; don’t forget your water bottle!
We prioritize active flexibility with the overall goals of reducing pain in movement and building strength at the end of each joint’s range of motion. Targeted and full-body drills lead students to greater mobility and engagement of key areas like: shoulders, upper/mid/low back, hips, hamstrings and quads, etc.
Active Flexibility refers to the range of motion joints can move sans external force. -
Part strength training, part cardio, and part rehab, this full-body conditioning workout is designed to enhance body awareness, muscle definition, balance, strength, and endurance in major muscle groups needed to progress in your pole journey no matter your level. True beginners through experienced polers are welcome!
Your instructors adapt curriculum to meet you where you’re at, while leaving you feeling accomplished and sore in all the right places the following day.
Attire: shorts and sleeveless tops highly encouraged
Suitable for all-levels, including those with no pole experience.
